Privacy

Your Inquiry Belongs to You.

Angrove runs on your iPhone. Your conversations are not sent to a cloud model, stored on our servers, or attached to an account. This isn't a privacy mode you switch on. It's how the app is built.

Stays on your phone

Everything You Make

  • Conversations and branches, including every question and answer.
  • Definitions and saved Insights, in each conversation and in your Insight Library.
  • Your Insight Tree: its Node Concepts, positions, Midpoints, and everything you've grown.
  • Library searches, which run against sources stored in the app.
  • Home cards, including the Question of the Day, all chosen on the device.

What Angrove doesn't do

Nothing in Between

  • No account. There's nothing to sign up for or log in to.
  • No cloud model. Answers are generated by the model on your phone.
  • No server database. We don't store anything you write.
  • No telemetry about what you ask or how you use the app.
  • No network requests to answer a question or build your Insight Tree.

Sovereignty

No One Standing in Between.

There's no company between you and your own record of thought. Your library lives with you and stays under your control. A private question should be allowed to remain private.

A Few Honest Details

Backups. Angrove stores its data in the app's own storage on your phone, like any other app. If you use iCloud Backup, iOS may include that data in your device backup, the same way it does for your other apps.

Deleting. Deleting a conversation removes it from the app. Deleting the app removes everything Angrove stored on your phone.

This website. This site has no analytics or tracking scripts; on page load, it requests fonts from Google Fonts. Email signup is not open yet, so this site does not currently collect waitlist addresses.

Not a counselor. Angrove is a tool for private study and reflection. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, spiritual direction, or clergy.
